Wed, Dec. 17 is the Jingle Mingle at the Fillmore Theatre (formerly The State Theatre) on Woodward Ave in Detroit. This is a free event with toy or food donations benefiting Toys for Tots or Capuchin Soup Kitchen. Premium Cash Bar, DJ & Dancing. Also, get your picture taken with Santa!! Fri, Dec. 19 is the Santarchy Pub Crawl in Monroe, MI. This definitely sounds like a fun pub crawl since everyone has to get dressed in up their Santa gear. Watch out for this group! Your $10 entry fee also benefits Toys for Tots.

8th Annual Toys for Tots Pub Crawl - Nov 29, 2008 @ Noon

Let's Drink for the Kids! Speaking from experience, this is a very fun pub crawl. This is a walking crawl that hits most of the good bars in Royal Oak. It starts at Mr. B's at noon and hits The Rock, Woodward Brewery, O'Tooles, Woody's, Monterrey & Memphis Smoke or Black Finn (or both!). Time spent at each bar is about 75 minutes, so even if you can't make it at noon, please join the crawl when you can! Donation is $25 cash or check (no toys please) and the first 100 people will receive a free t-shirt! Drink specials at every bar.

In 7 years, this Pub Crawl has raised over $50,000 for Toys for Tots! What an accomplishment...all in the name of good fun.
